- We went into the Sibulan Watershed Reserve, a protected area with a great biodiversity. If you want to enter this area you need a permission from the Municipal Hall of Polillo, the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). You also need for making photo and video material the permission of the DENR.

►►►Day 2: Green Vine Snake - Mildly venomous

- This is a "Green Vine Snake" [Ahaetulla Prasina] in Tagalog: "Dahong Palay". It is mildly venomous and can cause swelling, pain, bruising, numbness and other local symptoms, which will subside within three days. It use its binocular vision to hunt. It is slow moving. This is my first snake I found in Polillo, it was hard to see because it is very good camouflaged and also small. This snake was really calm and totally harmless but still I kept my safe distance to it. I found it at day time.

►►►Day 2: Wolf Snake - Non-venomous

- This is a "Wolf Snake" [Lycodon Muelleri] in Tagalog: "Ahas Tulog" translated: "Asleep Snake". This small snake is a nocturnal animal and it's also non-venomous. When I saw I thought it was venomous and when it dropped from the branches into the creek and it swum to us my heart was pumping but even it would be venomous this snake was just escaping. You don't need to be that afraid of snakes they are mostly more afraid of humans and you are more lucky to see one because some snake feel the vibration on the ground and before you are close to them they are already gone.

- I can't really tell the difference spezies of these frogs but I think the frog in the upper right (2nd Picture) could be a "Small Disked Frog" or also "Philippine Swamp Frog" [Limnonectes Leytensis] which is endemic to the Philippines. The frog in the bottom left (3rd Picture) could be a "Fiji Ground Frog" [Platymantis Vitiana]. Always Beware: Small frogs are often a good sign for snakes territory.

The venom can cause some redness, discomfort, blisters, and possible swelling which should all pass within a day or two.

Most of the ingredients (fruits, beans, and other sweets) are first placed inside the tall glass, followed by the shaved ice. This is then sprinkled with sugar, and topped with either (or a combination of) leche flan, purple yam (ubeng pula), or ice cream. Evaporated milk is poured into the mixture upon serving. The best way to eat it is mixing everything together with the spoon.

►►►Day 6: Trash is always a big problem in the Philippines

- If you just live a nature life. You get your coconut from the tree, you drink the juice, you eat eventually also the meat and after it you throw the shell into the nature. This is okay in my eyes because the nature can process it but also here should be used a proper place. But eating out from a metal can and throwing the sharp can lid somewhere where people walk and also the rest and all other kind of rubbish is really bad. It is easy and lazy to eat something and let the non-edible stuff just on the ground. But nobody thinks about over a longer period. If everybody is doing so and the nature will not process it, it will grow and grow.

►►►Day 6: Preparing for the fight

- "Cockfight", in Tagalog "Sabong", is part of the Philippine Culture. Every City, or bigger village has a cockpit. Two chicken have to fight with each other both chicken have a edge blade on one of its foot. Essential for a cockfight are also the bets. The defeated chicken has to die at the end.
